Dosage of nicotine in your e-liquid.

The nicotine that is in your e-liquid is expressed in mg per milliliter and is decisive in helping you quit smoking.

When we decide to use the Vape (vapot or vaporette), we are often taken by surprise as to the quantity of nicotine necessary for our personal consumption.

For successful smoking cessation, a high nicotine level at the start is often necessary in order to have the same effect as cigarettes. Unfortunately, we are often confronted with the problem of the "hit" (the burning effect in the throat) which is felt more intensely in the vape.

Fortunately, for several years there has been a nicotine with a lower PH called "Nicotine Salt" which allows a higher dosage without the inconvenience of Hit (softer in the throat).

In order to help you find the right dosage, you will find below a table which takes into account your daily cigarette consumption as well as the type of device you use.

Indeed, indirect draw devices (MTL) use less power to vaporize and are very economical in e-liquid. They also allow a higher nicotine dosage because less vapor is inhaled at a time.

Direct draft (DL) devices that are often compared to shisha produce more vapor by increasing the power and, therefore, the quantity of vapor created. This type of device requires a lower dosage of nicotine so that the pleasure and aromas are preserved.

MTL device (from 10 to 25 watts of power with resistance from 0.8 to 1.6 ohm)

Dosages beyond 20 mg per milliliter are possible but not recommended without follow-up by a specialist or a vape shop who can tell you what to do.

Little tips to avoid smoking during withdrawal

the first 3 days are crucial. you will be tempted to toast yourself. to avoid this, avoid alcohol and don't forget to hydrate (vaping dehydrates more than cigarettes).

Morning coffee

with the end of the meals it is the most delicate moment. in fact, you just got up and you haven't smoked for several hours. you are lacking!

To avoid this trap, drink a glass of water or a fruit juice when you get up (to hydrate yourself) and then quietly pull a dozen bars on your vape.

once done, take your coffee quietly with your vape. The first cigarette in the morning thus avoided will allow you to start your day serenely.
